X-ray lines

These links give you access to the x-ray lines table: binding energies, x-ray lines for each diffraction crystal available...

  • Listing of x-ray line for a specific element
  • Search a specific x-ray line according to element or sinθ range
  • List of interferences for a specific elements. This option does not replace more complete programs such as
Virtual WDS, and only gives you an idea about any lines present around the peak of interest. A graphical representation
is included, and shows peak positions and relative intensities (*), NOT the "true" peak shape.

(*) Relative intensity are expressed in percent of the major electron shell (K, L, M...); lines Kα, Lα... (nth order) are set to 100%,
and subsequent lines (e.g. Kβ, Lγ...) are set to a percent value from this major x-ray line.

(**) The list of x-ray wavelength originally comes from CAMECA and might slightly differ from Bearden (1967).

Conversion energy (E) ↔ wavelength (λ): E = h.c/λ
with h ≈ 4.1357 * 10-16 [eV.s] and c ≈ 2.9979 * 108 [m/s] (h.c ≈ 1.2398 * 10-7 [eV.m])
