Your figures are as important, or perhaps even more important, than the written/spoken text in your scientific presentations. Making good figures is an essential skill, and one that most of us could use some improvement with. In this presentation you will learn some practical tips for making effective scientific figures.
This is an updated version of a great presentation that Isla gave two years ago to the whole department in a ProSem.
All are welcome to join 3:30-4:30 on Friday. Contact Michele Cooke for a Zoom link. Throughout this week, you can pay attention to what you think works or doesn't in the figures that you see. Bring your ideas and questions on Friday. The seminar will be recorded .
