Research interests

Structural geology, metamorphic petrology, and tectonics. My current interests involve the use of field-based structural geology, microstructural and petrologic analysis, and monazite geochronology to study middle and lower crustal processes in the Canadian Shield and in the Proterozoic basement of the Grand Canyon, Arizona. My M.S. thesis research (University of Utah) involved pluton emplacement and deformation processes in the Sierra Nevada, California.

Current Research
Snowbird Tectonic Zone, Canada
Grand Canyon, Arizona
