Professional Profile

Teaching geosciences-geography continues as the primary vocational emphasis. Over 60 university course sections in five subject areas have been successfully developed and taught.

Teaching experience encompasses regional, cultural, and physical geography, natural disasters, and applied GIS Science and Cartography. Extended international experiences also include archeological and historical-geographic research in Israel and Ireland.

GARP 102-04 Physical Geography (Laboratory)

PhD research and fieldwork 2005-2012 focused on Biogeography; modeling and mapping the ecology of human activity and the nest habitat of the Philippine Eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi). A dissertation on the topic is scheduled for 2012.
