Figure 1 Data Sources

All data contained in this folder is in *.mat (Matlab) data file. The files can be opened in Matlab or python without any changes to the file type.

Listed below are the file names and their dimensions in:

- cellthk.mat - cell thickness (m) used for plotting oceanic depth.

- cs510_NH_ice.mat - contains high-resolution (510 x 510) data for northern hemisphere ice sheets. Each data points is the percentage (%) of ice in that grid cell. 

- LGM_land_mask.mat - contains the land mask for the coarse-resolution (32x32) MITgcm simulations.

- LGM_sea_ice.mat - contains the mean annual sea ice thicknesses (m) for the coarse-resolution (32 x 32 x 2000) simulations.

- LGM_temp_crosssection.mat - Last Glacial Maximum Arctic Basin cross sectional temperature with depth (from Bering Strait south to the Nordic Seas).

- modern_temp_crosssection.mat - Modern Arctic Basin cross sectional temperature with depth (from Bering Strait south to the Nordic Seas).
