GEO SCI 250 Natural Disasters

Lab Facilitator: Sean Fitzgerald

There is an OPTIONAL 1 hour session in the GIS lab for this class. This hour will be devoted to a demonstration and interaction with GIS software and its role in natural disasters within the United States.

We have these sessions starting after spring break. Our schedule is limited to several sessions of 20 students each, so all students cannot attend. You will receive credit if you attend. OTHERWISE, we have an on-line version you may do for equal credit. Credit is for one or the other, not both.

Tentatively they will be held from 10:00 AM – Noon Tuesday and Thursday.

I will offer this for as many students who can meet the schedule.

Please sign up for this lab period in the columns below your chosen date on the sheet. Please note that there are only 20 seats available per lab session, which coincides with the number of columns under each date. Please do not sign up under a date, which has already been filled. Please print your name clearly and legibly as we have to enter quite a few names into the final lab schedule and neat handwriting is much appreciated.

The sign up sheet will start to go around soon.
