This image shows the weather station at Lake Sophia in May 1994. The support construction on the right of the tripod supports the radiometers. All four components of the radiation balance were measured. The proposed weather station on the Sajama Icecap will look somewhat similar, but will use a single aluminium pole instead of a tripod as main support.
