WFCR (FM 88.5) Morning Edition hosted two short interviews with the Nevado Sajama crew. On 23 June 97, Ray Bradley got a chance to talk a little bit about the significance of the project. On 27 June 97, Carsten Braun and Doug Hardy were interviewed via satellite phone from the summit of Sajama to offer some more details about the project and the actual conditions at the top of the volcano! Now we've got those interviews here for your listening pleasure!
If you are browsing with a PC, click on the PC versions of the WAV file. They are nearly the same quality, but have been compressed with the MSN audio codec to make them much smaller (232k versus 1140k, and 417k versus 2053k). If you are using a Macintosh or another platform, you probably won't be able to use these files. So instead, click on the original WAV recording (11 KHz, 8-bit, mono PCM format).
